As the name implies, Affordable Website Design and Hosting is a full service website design and hosting company. As a reseller for GoDaddy, the largest domain registrar and hosting provider in the United States, I can now offer "one stop shopping" for all the products and services you or your company are likely to require.
Affordable Website Design and Hosting is located in Reno, Nevada but I have currently have clients in six states so there is no reason not to use my services based on geographic location.

Reasonable hourly rates
Most website design companies charge an hourly design rate of $70 to $150 per hour. I charge a flat rate of $50 per hour.
- Simple one or two page websites can run as little as $200 to set up.
- More complex sites with shopping carts, feedback forms, and other labor intensive features could cost upwards of $1,000... but... a site I charge $1,000 to create would easily cost over $2,000 anywhere else.
- If you need a few simple changes that only take me a few minutes, I usually won't bill you since the invoice would take me longer than the change.

Extra Security Features
There are lots of "bad guys" out there on the Internet, which is why I build enhanced security features into the links and forms associated with every website I design.
- One example is the "Contact Me" links at the top and bottom of this page. The email address that both link to is protected from "spambots" by code that scrambles the email address until it is needed. Features like this will significantly reduce the amount of junk mail you receive.
- Another example is the security code that must be enterd before the form on the Quote Request page can be submitted. Without the security code, the form can actually be hijacked by the bad guys and used to send out junk mail. Scary but true!
Website hosting for under $5 per month
Every one of my clients pays less than $5 per month for their website hosting. If you have a very large website or you require additional services, such as the ability to accept credit cards on-line, or a shopping cart, the charges will be higher... but they'll still be well below what the other website design companies are charging for the same services.
Domain names for around $10 per year
There are sometimes special deals available but figure on around $10 per year for each domain name you require. Some companies are still charging $35 per year or more for domain name registration.
You can even have multiple domain names pointed to the same website.
