What is the approximate cost
to have a website designed?
A basic website... such as Memories on Canvas... with only a few pages and a few photos, can take me as few as three hours to set up. Since I charge $50 per hour for my time, the cost of a similar site would only be $150.
A more complex site... such as D&D Tire or Radiance MedSpa ... with multiple pages, maps, photos, logos to be designed, etc., can run upwards of $1,000 to design.
A complex site with a large shopping cart, feedback forms, and other complex design elements, could easily end up costing over $2,000 to design. To put things into perspective however, the same site with a major website design firm could cost 5 times as much to design! Don't believe me? Make a few calls and find out. Keep in mind that having a site designed and having it hosted are two separate things.
